    Barry, just what I was thinking. I have been takling a teaspoon at night with a green drink to alkalize urine for longer sleeping. I am wondering how much sodium this is? Also noticed my "old people spots" on my arms are shrinking. It's been about 2 weeks so if I take a break, how soon should I resume. Green drink powder is expensive, baking soda is cheap.

    Also making a paste out of baking soda and water is a good way to get bee sting and spider venom out by placing it on the infected area. Let the paste dry then wipe it off, and re-apply as needed.

    One of the tips is that you should not confuse baking soda with baking powder. Good advice! But another tip says to "choose baking soda without aluminum"! There is no such thing as baking soda with aluminum! Only baking powder can contain aluminum. So the author has just confused baking soda with baking powder!

    i've been very concerned about alkalinity for years now, always focusing on green drinks. I mix one quarter teaspoon to 16 or 32 ounces of spring water and test it with ph strips. Always is off the chart with alkalinity. Now thinking of bringing it to the gym to sip during workouts.
