I had nooo idea on-line pets existed!!! I will get the kids THAT instead of a real one!! They can log in & check the status of their computer pet! Then they can have a TIGER or a Deerbra!! I feel like I just conquered life. Thanks James! My parenting points just increased by 87 from this. (The point system is excellent.)

I think a tiger salamander would be a good addition to this list, say good bye to those immature ways to scoop out other salamders with shovels due to the toxins on it's body and have a tiger salamander instead. All they're toxins can basically do is nothing, they can adapt to temperatures unlike other salamanders, they don't bite, they eat their own waste so no need to get your hands dirty anymore, they're extremely hardy and forgiving, they live up to 25 years, and you only need to do 3 simple things to keep it happy and healthy, 1. Mist it every day, 2. feed it four stuffed and calcium dusted crickets or worms every 3 days, 3. Clean it's terrarium every week and wash your hands without soap to remove it though you do wash with soap after you've put it back. Besides, they're also very interactive and are great for people with allergies to fur.

It's nice when kids have a real live pet. I sometimes worry about my niece who has an online pet. Her parents seem comfortable with that as they do not have the space for a real pet. But, I keep wondering if this is healthy. She talks of her pet as if it were real.
