I'm guessing that what Frank Lucas made in his time is worth that today.

No way Griselda Blanco was worth 2M! She was Pablo Escobar's distributor in the US. Pablo escobar was estimated to be worth north of $20B. This list needs to be reviewed.

This list is incredibly inaccurate and laughable. Whoever wrote this did no historical research into the topic. Escobar, Amada Carillo Fuentes, El Chapo, El Mayo are just four people off the top of my head are wealthier than anyone on this list. Caro Quinitero also had much more than 650mm. This list is completely fabricated and embellished.

Nowadays chemists are the most respected in the drug business. Columbia will always have the best coffee and cocaine due to altitude. But a chemist in the US bypasses smuggling risks. I started an operation smuggling pain pills on wave runners from Fort Lauderdale to Nassau and back. Needed plenty of extra fuel and if you broke down you are dead in the largest liquid desert in the world. If I get back into this I'll be a chemist, set my limit and quit. No one lasts in this business. Good luck.
